As summer draws to a close, and kiddos are going back to school, the library seems a little more quiet than usual. June and July went by in a blur, and Mrs. Brenda had a great time hosting the 2024 Summer Reading Program, “Adventure Begins in Your Library”.
We had a great turn out, and the kids enjoyed educational programs and fun crafts and activities. Some of our guest speakers included the local Reptile Club, and officers from the San Augustine Police Department.
Several kids participated in the reading part of our program, as well as poster coloring contest.
